Curti is an artist that ads his own personality and has an extensive playlist and interprets and expands on the diverse styles of Stevie Wonder, the Beatles, Joe Cocker, Lucio Battisti, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Michele Zarrillo, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles, Pino Daniele, Elvis Presley, Simply Red, The Temptation, Maria Carey, Claudio Baglioni and more.

Singing since 1974, Curti has worked around the world as a former officer in the Navy where he prepared for special galas and concerts in theaters abroad. For years after the Navy, he played at many international piano bars where he performed with keyboards. But his passion was always singing.

Relay For Life Live Concert with French Cancan Dancers! Sunday, July 15th at 1pm

It’s not every day we get the opportunity to help each other in our Real Lives. The American Cancer Society in conjunction with Second Life has dedicated July 14th –July 15th for the Relay For Life- an opportunity to donate to the worthy cause of saving lives and ultimately curling cancer. As a person who lost both parents to cancer, I know how deadly this disease can be.

In the spirit of giving, this Sunday 7/15 at 1pm we’ll return to the early days of the French Cancan. Come dressed in period outfits and see this fantastic burlesque musical in Moulin Rouge style. These fantastic entertainers are donating their time so that you can donate some Lindens to help find the cure for cancer!

There are donation kiosks all over Rhapsody Isles so come visit our beautiful and romantic SIM and give to the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Help to cure and ultimately eliminate this disease for all!

Moulin Rouge's dancers were famous worldwide for inventing of the French Cancan dance, a kind of gallop where ladies legs are thrown in the air sharing some very appreciated anatomical secrets !

Those musicals were the forerunner of the golden age of "Femmes Fatales' and beautiful women we’d later admire at the Folies Bergeres in 1868, and Moulin Rouge (which became the Reine Blanche 20 years late) with its famous Jardin de Paris. These French performances became not only the origin of the Music Hall but the “Star System” as well. And, in 1907, coming from the other side of the Atlantic with the sublime Mr. Ziegfield and his Folies, helped shape Broadway and Hollywood forever.

Lisa arrived in Second Life out of curiosity and since 2009 she listens and discovers artists who are making the treasures of the live performances in SL. She founded "Tree of Lovers" in January 2010 with J4ck Nichols, this place is dedicated to live performances and about 50 artists from different styles and backgrounds.
